Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
